Special Olympics WA State Games 2025 will start with a Torch run on the running track within the Stadium.
You will join Special Olympic Athletes and may even get to carry an Official Special Olympic Torch.
After the Torch Run there will be the Opening Ceremony followed by some festivities.
If you are free, stay from 1100-1500 and join in on the Come and Try events for Bocce and Athletics.

Torch Run acknowledge the Traditional Owners of the land where Torch Run work and live. Torch Run pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging. Torch Run celebrate the stories, culture and traditions of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders of all communities who also work and live on this land.
